A good idea is to imagine you lived decades ago. instead of using the remote control, walk to the TV to change it. Walk to the store if it's close enough. Walk over and visit a neighbor instead of calling or texting. These micro activities can add up to burning a lot more calories than relying on scheduled exercise time.
